The Duane Bartels band is a 6-piece New Orleans group that plays to the many musical traditions of the city. They maintain a contemporary sense of Americana and Indie Rock, while retaining their roots in Funk, RnB, and Jazz. Since the band’s formation in 2016, they have gained a strong following across New Orleans, all over the French Quarter, from Frenchman Street to Bourbon, holding residencies at House of Blues and various other venues. In April 2023, the band released “Electric Baby Carriage,” their latest effort with Justin Armstrong (Dave Matthews Band, Death Cab For Cutie).
